Mother Nature was not kind to brides during the month of May. It seems like every Saturday was filled with rain and clouds, followed by more rain. Will and Emily’s wedding at Dara’s Garden is proof that you don’t have to be afraid of a little rain on your wedding day. Dara’s Garden is a beautiful venue. The garden setting is absolutely gorgeous and their on site tent is perfect to host your reception. In some cases, the tent is a backup in case of the dreaded rain clouds. We’re always prepared to handle these situations but we love that this couple didn’t let a few sprinkles move them inside. As the start of the ceremony drew closer, Emily gave the decision to Will while she prepared to walk down the aisle. Will made the choice to keep the ceremony outside and we think it turned out perfect! The rain slowly began to stop and held off just long enough to allow this couple the ceremony they wanted. After a few quick portraits, we were off to the reception. The rain eventually returned but you’d never know by the fun we were all having. This is definitely one we will never forget and we were so happy to be a part of it.
